This really struck a chord with me. I know exactly that feeling — being surrounded by people who care just as deeply, who see what you see and feel what you feel. A place where you're surrounded by people who are heartbroken by the world’s treatment of animals, yet fiercely determined to change it. It's so comforting and inspiring to be in a space like that.
I was sorry not to be there this time and totally agree — the East Coast would be much more doable for those of us coming from Europe!
Was really nice to meet you, Tobias, and I couldn't agree more. Felt almost like a temporary hallucination where the world looked as I wished it would. Was great chatting with you about old Lucasarts adventure games. Here's my Substack btw, which I forgot to send you :) https://giantmecha.substack.com
I agree with you, Tobias, on your point about Division and Distraction. At the same time, I'm a fan of intersectionalism (but not sweet muffins). How do you see intersectionalism being balanced with legitimate concerns over division and distraction?

Thank you Tobias for giving on honest reflection on the Animal Rights Movement/Summit. I value your opinion!
Thanks, Tobias. Good stuff as always (especially the "ultra-processed" bit).
I can only hope that someday, the "summit" is about helping animals, full stop.
Good write up! I heard you did a really captivating interview with some super famous successful influencer too? Exciting stuff.
Indeed! He seems a skilled interviewer too. Looking forward :-)

Hope to write a piece on that style day
